Mephisto is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal, especially oriented towards painting and music. Sometimes bringing figurative cues to his abstraction, his research is mainly aimed at creating unique and powerful subjects by creating his own abstract symbols. Describing his work as a kind of "post-automatism", Mephisto strives to create worlds of pastel and primary colors. Applied spontaneously, they form an abstract and childlike pictorial language where the intuitive freedom of the artist's brush takes all the place.
